about preserves, confitures, jams, marmelades, etc...

Once in a while I challenge myself and try my hand on fruit preserves.
Today I had some strawberries, some apples, half a pommegranate and half a lemon, all lingering in or out of the fridge.
Hmm, too good to throw away, a bit too damaged to put on the breakfast table.
I started slicing & cutting, and along the process I thought of making a preserve ...
See the result : looks good & tastes even better !
I wonder what the guests will think of this.

Some days later I combined figs, pommegranate and lemon and ... hmmm,  the preserve had a nice taste and was quite crunchy with the crushed pommegranate seeds in it.
